XTREME bending: TruBend Series 8000

Need to bend a lot of long or short heavy parts? Then this heavy-duty solution with up to 2,000 tonnes of press force will come in handy. A TruBend 8000 can handle bending lengths of up to 12 meters, and even 16 meters in tandem operation. Thanks to the heavy-duty upper tool clamp, you can even bend extremely thick and short sheets to precise angles. The weight-adjustable heavy-duty bending aid with a 300 kilogram carrying capacity takes the load off operating personnel. Adapt the bending star to your needs with the help of numerous special options.

TruBend Series 8000: Which version works best for you?

TruBend 8000 stand-alone

Benefit from an installation height of 875 millimeters, throat depth of 620 millimeters and a maximum 1,000 tonnes of press force with the versatile large-format machine. The ideal machine for large, heavy parts up to 8 meters in length as well as station bending for small workpieces. With capacities of up to 6,000 kilonewtons, the crowning and tool clamp are extremely sturdy.

TruBend 8000 in tandem

Bend extra-long and large parts with strength and precision using two perfectly synchronized TruBend 8000 machines in tandem, for double the bending length and press force. If you only need to bend oversize parts from time to time, operate both machines separately and use them in together on a "tandem day" once a week, for example.

XTREME bending automations

Starmatik robot

With the robot on a movable transverse rail, the TruBend 8000 can bend sheets up to eight meters in length with a maximum weight of 220 kilograms fully automated. The configuration is tailored to your needs. If required, you can add a storage connection, centering station, gripper and tool changing along with a regripping station and other sheet processing processes, such as joining or thermoforming.

Upper tool systems

Thanks to upper tool systems with swivel mechanisms, the bending machine switches from one tool to another across the entire bending length in a matter of seconds at the click of a button.

Lower tool systems

With the lower tool displacement you can perform two different bending operations with one tool, increasing part variety while saving setup time and investment costs. Lower tool displacement also enables productive special applications, such as folding.

Push-out unit

The lateral tool push-out is particularly beneficial for closed profiles. The push-out process is CNC controlled for the TruBend Series 8000.

Front gauge system

The sheet is placed in front of the bending edge and positioned for the bending process with the help of the front gauge system. In combination with a backgauge, the machine handles the material without any operating personal. Press units guarantee the quality of the flange in the process.

XTREME laser cutting: TruLaser 3060 fiber and TruLaser 3080 fiber

Want to improve your cutting for longer sheets? Use the TruLaser 3060 fiber and TruLaser 3080 fiber machines to process sheets up to eight meters long in all sheet thicknesses with versatility. Benefit from the high productivity ensured by the dream team of the TruDisk 24001 laser and a fully adaptive lens system. BrightLine fiber ensures high cutting quality in thick sheet metal, while CoolLine cools your parts, making intricate geometries possible, even with high laser power. XTREME laser cutting can also be automated with Starmatik loading and unloading units to round off your system.
