Equality of opportunity is a matter of course for us. After all, the head of our company is a woman. What is important to us here is that it is teamwork between men and women that brings the best results. That is why gender diversity is an issue that affects everyone. We use diverse and flexible models of work structuring to meet our employees' needs for compatibility between work requirements and private interests.

We engage actively with the challenges of demographic change. The knowledge that our experienced employees have is very important for us. We want to give them prospects for the future and appropriate employment. We therefore, take on new approaches and, for example, are involved in a research project studying skills management oriented to life phases and work process design in industrial service processes.

With over 70 subsidiaries in more than 30 countries, TRUMPF is a globally active company. Different locations and diverse cultures make international teamwork key to success. We encourage exchange between locations and development of intercultural skills among our employees.

We want inclusion to be the norm at TRUMPF. This means diversity in the workforce, which therefore enriches the day-to-day working life of all our employees. We started a drive for this purpose in 2015 and have created additional posts for people with severe disabilities. We place great importance on accessible workplaces and encourage people with disabilities to apply. We also work with disability centers at many of our locations.

Whether lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or intersexual (in short: LGBTI) – we demonstrate an open and respectful approach, both internally and externally – and that means that each individual is appreciated in their individual uniqueness and feels accepted.
