Universal cordless machine for flat and corrugated sheets

The compact 12V cordless machine is ideal for cutting flat and corrugated sheets measuring up to 1.6 mm thick. Cutting is corrosion-free and without distortion and the 4.0 Ah / 12V-LiHD rechargeable battery provides long runtimes. The soft grip ensures a secure hold and enables low-vibration operation. With the optionally available extension, you can always extend the range of applications and thus also cut deep profiles. The tools can be changed very easily using the rotary knob.

Battery technology

LiHD rechargeable battery technology means more power, service life and runtime. It charges reliably using process-controlled charging and discharging management. The cells are protected by minimal temperature build-up and permanent electronic single cell protection (ESCP), even when used over very long periods. The result: high-quality materials and intelligent battery management combined with brushless motors and power-head technology mean longer runtimes. The rechargeable battery pack's outer rubber coating also provides secure and non-slip stability as well as impact protection.

Ideal for cutting thin metal

You even achieve optimum results when processing sheets measuring between 0.5 mm and 1 mm thick.

Compatible extension

The battery-powered and electric versions of the TruTool N 160 have an identical design to the battery-powered and electric models of the TruTool N 160 with extension. This means that the tool is compatible and can optionally be upgraded with an extension.

Flat sheet

For cutting straight sheets and trimming them to length. For notches, as well as radial and interior cutouts.

Corrugated sheet

For trimming to length and cutting. For diagonal cuts, interior cutouts, and radial cuts.

Power-Head Technology

The light metal gear head's ingenious design is specially adapted to the low voltage battery technology. Decoupling the motor pinion from the motor minimizes energy loss and ensures even higher performance per battery charge.

Brushless motor

The powerful BL motor generates higher torques than conventional motors, requires less power and generates hardly any heat. This positively affects battery performance and means you get the maximum from every battery charge. A further advantage is the practically limitless service life of a BL motor due to the absence of carbon brushes and therefore no mechanical wear. This means almost wear-free and maintenance-free motors.

Small and handy

The 12V rechargeable battery tool has a lightweight design enabling fatigue-free working. The soft grip ensures safe and low-vibration working. All TRUMPF rechargeable battery tools are also available as stand-alone versions, i.e. without rechargeable batteries and recharger. If you already have CAS batteries available, you then have the option to save on resources and cut costs.

Optimal working speed

You can use the speed control to adjust the working speed to suit the individual cutting task. This provides a variable cutting speed. You can use the speed controller if you frequently need to deal with radii and stainless steel, for example. A further benefit is that the motor protects the battery against overload, overheating, and deep discharge.
