Rotary part manipulator

Every bend is fully automatic with the innovative rotary part manipulator. It fixes, rotates and positions your sheets in the machine in the correct position. With the new TruBend Center 7020, it moves even closer to the bending line without having to change its grip, saving you cycle time. This makes life easier for the operator, who now only needs to load and unload parts, This maximizes bending operation productivity.

2-axis part manipulator

The 2-axis part manipulator automatically positions the sheet metal for all bends on every component edge. An additional height axis enables components to be secured in different positions. With this height axis, parts with negative bends are also unloaded reliably. This increases your part flexibility and enables you to produce narrow profiles, components with multiple bends or formed sections and cutouts while maximizing process reliability.

Angle drive

With its ingeniously simple continuous path control, the innovative angle drive of the TruBend Center ensures maximum accuracy. The interaction between two axes provides the ideal traverse path to protect the surface of your component. The drive design also makes your TruBend Center particularly robust for everyday industrial applications.

Integrated tool changer

The integrated tool changer, ToolMaster Bend, automatically sets up the right upper blank holder tools. It also takes care of a whole host of work for you. It prevents setup errors, reduces setup times, and enables cost-effective single part production.

ACB laser

ACB laser is an optical bending angle correction system that operates without contact: A laser projects a line onto the sheet, and a camera then detects the angle.

3-surface suction module

The 3-surface suction module positions the sheet using suction cups on the front face, top, and bottom. If there is an insufficient suction area, magnetic or gripper modules take on this task.

Magnetic/gripper module

For components with an insufficient suction area, other gripper systems take over sheet positioning. For these generally smaller components, so-called magnetic or gripper modules are used.

The right program in the blink of an eye

You can call up the right bending program in an instant using the 2D code scanner or a Bluetooth scanner. The 2D code scanner is connected to the machine, reads a bar code or Data Matrix Code from the paper, and automatically loads the program; the Bluetooth scanner can even scan the sheet metal.

Additional monitor

Program parallel to production and produce without paper – the additional monitor on the machine control shows you further information in addition to the required screens and drawings for programming and production. This allows you to program and produce at the same time by using shop floor programming, for example.

On-demand servo drive

The on-demand servo drive supplies your TruBend machine with precisely the amount of energy needed. It only runs during the bending process; otherwise the hydraulic system is stationary and does not use any energy. If the press beam has to overcome a large pressing depth, it supports it with increased working speed. The drive operates economically, quickly, and extremely quietly.

Digital connection and integration for smart solutions

Seamless integration of multiple TRUMPF machines into your own software environment is very easy. We have the right solution for every combination, whether it be integration into Oseon or a connection to monitoring and analysis tools. A connection to third-party software systems is also possible with our interfaces based on the OPC UA standard.

TecZone Bend

Save time and increase quality during the automatic creation of your programs on the basis of 2D or 3D data. This is possible using TecZone Bend, the programming system for automatic offline programming of TruBend Center panel benders.

Extra blank holder tool (ENW)

With additional upper blank holders, you can also produce very narrow profiles or components with formed sections near the bending lines. If required, the machine automatically swivels in the ENW extra blank holder from above. The available standard blank holders do not need to be replaced or modified for this.

Extra bending tool (ZBW)

Extra bending tools can be set up automatically in order to bend flanges or offset bends. When necessary, the tools automatically move to the correct position from their parked position, and process the sheet without using the remaining bending tools.

Horn blank holder

Nestings with inner edges can be produced easily with the horn blank holders. The horn tools extend and retract automatically at an angle. This means that the upper blank holder can move downwards without causing a collision between the tool and the bend.

Automatic loading and unloading

Automatic loading and unloading makes the TruBend Center 7030 even more productive. The loading unit picks up the blanks on the loading unit parallel to production and automatically feeds them to the machine. The loading cart ensures the perfect flow: You simply place several blanks on pallets there, and the machine works through them. The machine uses two conveyor belts for unloading, and can either buffer the produced components individually or in sync, depending on the component size. You can also connect a robot for removing parts in an automated way.

Storage connection

You can organize your material handling in line with your requirements with the TruStore 3030 store or a STOPA large-scale storage system. The storage connection is the perfect supplement to the loading and unloading unit of the TruBend Center 7030 panel bender, making you more productive.

Automation solution with Starmatik

With the robot on a movable transverse rail, the TruBend Center can load and bend sheet metal up to three meters in length fully automatically. Unloading can also be completed fully automatically. During this process, the robot can even stack different orders on different pallets. The configuration is tailored to your needs. If required, you can add a storage connection, centering station, gripper and tool change, along with a regripping station and other sheet processing systems. The complete solution can be programmed offline.
