Optimize Your Laser with Additional Features
TRUMPF offers well-thought-out solutions that make your production more efficient, safer, and more transparent. From monitoring and data storage to interfaces – explore smart features to configure our fiber lasers to meet your needs.
With patented 2-in-1 beam forming, BrightLine Weld allows flexible laser power distribution between the fiber core and fiber ring. The fiber ring beam enlarges and stabilizes the keyhole opening, allowing process gases to escape more easily. This enables low-spatter welding even at high speeds.
Your advantage: Less rework, clean weld seams, and stable process control – with full control over power distribution.

With Active Power Control, laser power remains stable at 100% throughout its service life. This intelligent power regulation continuously monitors the laser’s output and automatically adjusts the diode voltage when deviations are detected.
Your advantage: The integrated power reserve ensures your TruFiber S operates at optimal nominal power over its entire service life – without manual recalibration.

Process-synchronous storage and visualization of individually selected data from your lasers, connected optics, and process sensors. The data remains entirely under your control.
Your advantage: Transparent quality control, traceable processes, and valuable insights for optimized production.

Every laser requires efficient heat dissipation. We offer cooling units tailored to your specific needs. Depending on your requirements, you can choose from different variants, including external heat exchangers, water-to-water or water-to-air cooling.
Your advantage: A perfectly matched cooling system for your laser, manufactured to our strict specifications – for maximum uptime and longevity of your equipment.

The TruFiber S supplies up to two workstations simultaneously or alternately with laser power. The laser light cables can be plugged in via plug-and-play. Power Sharing operates both stations with variable power, while Time Sharing enables alternating use at full power.
Your advantage: More flexibility in shop floor planning and increased productivity through parallel processing or efficient laser utilization.

The easily accessible sensor port allows external third-party process sensors to be connected for welding process monitoring. This mechanical coupling enables seamless integration of established monitoring systems.
Your advantage: As an integrator, you can easily incorporate proven sensor solutions into your overall system.

TRUMPF fiber lasers offer interfaces to all common fieldbus systems. Additionally available: real-time interface, parallel digital I/O, process sensor interface, OPC UA software interface, analog input card, interface for intelligent TRUMPF optics (CFO, PFO).
Your advantage: Effortless and direct integration of a TruFiber laser into your machine or production line.

In the TRUMPF laser network, you can connect one or more lasers to up to two workstations each. The laser either shares its power across multiple stations or alternates full power between them. This enables you to combine different applications efficiently.
Your advantage: Maximum productivity and optimal resource utilization.

With the optional absorber, the TruFiber S can be used for remote diagnostics without requiring an on-site service technician. The laser beam is directed into the absorber, enabling precise functionality testing – even via remote support.
Your advantage: Time and cost savings through rapid analysis and troubleshooting, keeping your production running smoothly.

Control your fiber laser effortlessly with the TruControl 2 software on the optional panel PC. The intuitive user interface provides a clear overview of the laser’s current status and guides you through the operation process. Clear status indicators ensure full transparency, while the role-based authorization system prevents unauthorized access and ensures stable processes.
Your advantage: A fully integrated control system optimized for your laser that offers easy operation on multiple devices without additional effort. A clear process display and enhanced security through role-based access rights.
Programmable Focusing Optics
Programmable focusing optics (PFO) direct the laser beam to any desired position within the processing field using mirrors, without moving the workpiece or the optics. With an integrated real-time control loop, the laser accurately reaches its target. The robust design features a back-reflection-protected collimator housing and sensor-based stray light monitoring for reliable, long-lasting operation. These optics can integrate with various TRUMPF or third-party process monitoring sensors via an interface.
Focusing Optics
Focusing optics (BEOs) focus the laser beam onto the workpiece. The focal point of the lens determines the exact processing location on the material. Depending on the imaging ratio, they either deliver the laser's full beam quality for high-precision applications or provide an extended working distance for processes requiring a broader beam diameter or where spatter formation is expected. Since the processing point remains fixed, BEOs must either be moved along an axis or the workpiece must be guided beneath the optics. Thanks to their modular design, the optics can be optimally configured for the specific processing task. Various features are available, such as Crossjet, protective glass monitoring, and process sensors like VisionLine. Additionally, bi- and multifocal beam outputs enable processing at multiple points on a workpiece.
