The TRUMPF Group increased its sales& by around 6% at the end of the 2018/19 fiscal year on June 30, 2019. According to preliminary calculations, the company generated sales of €3.8 billion (compared with €3.6 billion in 2017/18). Due to the economic situation, orders received declined from €3.8 billion to €3.7 billion.
GFT Technologies SE takes over the business activities and employees of AXOOM at the site in Karlsruhe. This means that, in the future, the Smart Factory solutions will be under the umbrella of TRUMPF at the headquarters in Ditzingen.

TRUMPF is taking over Aixtooling GmbH, a tool manufacturer for precision optics, thereby expanding its production technologies in the manufacture of micro optics. TRUMPF is also acquiring shares in the IT start-up ZIGPOS, whose IT solution supports the indoor localization system Track&Trace.
