Challenges
Bojun describes their experience to date with TRUMPF and the use of TruDisk as extremely positive. In order to increase capacity, the company planned to expand its production lines and needed a cutting solution. Bojun was looking for a system that could increase productivity and reduce costs, improve product quality and precision and ensure production stability to meet the demands of large order volumes.
Solutions
As a company with well-developed Industry 4.0 technology, TRUMPF was the first choice for Bojun Technology. After numerous discussions with TRUMPF China and extensive testing of the product functions, Bojun finally opted for the TRUMPF solution. The TRUMPF system was a perfect solution to the challenges Bojun faced in several ways: cutting speed was increased by 60%, cutting robustness was improved by 20% and overall productivity was increased by 15%. The 5-axis 3D cutting machine from TRUMPF is characterized not only by its high load capacity and precision, but also by its wide range of functions. Its large process window meets the requirements of complex processes, the rotary table design enables large-scale production and the simple and convenient operating software significantly reduces downtimes, increases production capacities and lowers costs.
Implementation
The commissioning of the TruLaser Cell 8030 has enormously increased productivity and reliability and significantly increased the cutting speed; the production processes are now much more robust. Bojun technicians say: “The ease of use of the TRUMPF software has significantly reduced the time required for commissioning and maintenance of the system, so that the production line can now run continuously and efficiently. Thanks to the high efficiency and resilience of the system, Bojun's production costs have been significantly reduced and production capacity has been expanded to the maximum extent possible. In this way, the demand created by the many orders was covered and we were able to acquire even more customers and orders.”
Forecast
