Repair process chain of a joint support
An LMD repair process chain is illustrated using an axle stub as an example. The core element is a TruLaserCell 3000 with a triangulation scanner integrated into the machine. The geometry is detected by the triangulation sensor and the data is imported into offline CAM software. The tool paths are then generated in the CAM software. The LMD process can be simulated in the software and subsequently executed on the machine. The CAM software "Lasertools" from Netvision is used in this example. In principle, this solution can also be implemented with other CAM software solutions, e.g. Siemens NX, MasterCam.
