All-around excellence when it comes to sheet metal processing
New customer segments due to laser tube processing
Käppler & Pausch took the decision to enter into laser tube processing around seven years ago. Their aim was not only to make new tube designs and profiles more accessible to existing sheet metal customers, they also aimed to tap into completely new customer segments that are dependent on tubes. This strategy paid off.
Automatisierungsgrad von 35 %
Degree of automation of 35%
Today, like all machines at Käppler & Pausch, the TruLaser Tube 7000 runs in three shifts, with the exception of the edging area, and it often reaches its capacity limit. For optimal multi-shift operation, all machines are connected to a Stopa warehouse with more than 630 spaces. If necessary, four machines can run fully automatically. This corresponds to a degree of automation of 35 percent, which, according to co-founder Gabriel Pausch, even has potential for improvement.
