Basic development
From the theory to experiments and on to developing machine modules – in basic development at TRUMPF, you perform predevelopment work in the fields of laser cutting, machine dynamics, control systems, sensor systems, and actuator systems.

Control-system development
Control-system development is based around designing and developing software solutions for controlling and automating our machines. Our focus here is on machine-oriented development work.

Testing and simulation
In the testing and simulation department you create test plans, perform experiments on prototypes, and systematically determine process data and workflows.

Application
In our laser application centers, you provide fresh impetus for new laser-based manufacturing methods and develop applications for our customers.

Customer projects
Variety is guaranteed in our customer projects. We serve international customers from a range of industries and deploy the full range of TRUMPF technology, which keeps boredom at bay.

Design
Using simulations and FEM calculations, you design and construct our machines within the context of an international platform strategy for each technology.

Software development

At TRUMPF, you work with hundreds of software developers as part of agile teams to tackle topics ranging from the human machine interface to CAD/CAM programming systems, and even control systems for manufacturing systems and entire plants.

Information technology
In Business Information Services, you drive forward the digitalization of the TRUMPF value chains as part of our Industry 4.0 initiative, both horizontally to the customer and vertically from ERP right through to the automation and networking of the production set-up.

In additive manufacturing, you shape the future of manufacturing technology. Working as part of a young and expanding team, we pursue our goal of establishing metal 3D printing in sectors ranging from medical and dentistry technology and aviation and aerospace right through to the automotive industry.

Controlling
In Controlling, you ensure compliance with business standards that apply uniformly across the TRUMPF Group. Controlling also focuses on the functional side of things, e.g. in sales, development, production, and IT controlling.

Accounting
In Accounting we draw up the consolidated financial statement, as well as the individual financial statements of numerous subsidiaries as a shared service function.

Taxes and Customs & External Trade
As a member of our team, you will ensure compliance with all tax, foreign trade, and customs regulations. In this way you help to secure our competitiveness for the long term.

Treasury
The Treasury department ensures TRUMPF's ability to meet its financial obligations. We protect the company against interest and currency risks and advise our international subsidiaries in all finance matters.

Internal audit
The internal audit forms part of TRUMPF's risk management. We don't just consider ourselves a monitoring authority, but rather provide support in the implementation of business processes.

Banking
TRUMPF Financial Services is the sales financing company and bank of the TRUMPF Group. We offer our customers around the world financing solutions for our machines.

The central sales departments develop and set sales strategies for our two business divisions Laser Technology and Machine Tools. The TRUMPF central sales departments bring together marketing, communication, and market research, as well as country, industry, product, and Key Account management. In addition to its commercial activities, the sales department also deals with technical tasks as part of major or special projects which require specialist technical expertise.

Corporate strategy and business development
As a central department, the corporate strategy and business development area is the management team's right arm and helps it to develop group-wide and department-specific strategies.

In-house consulting
The specialist and central departments call on the in-house consulting department as an advisor or project leader with the aim of further developing the TRUMPF organization and processes.

Production
In the central Production department you assume responsibility for the strategic focus of our production network. Together with the group management, you also develop our SYNCHRO production system and the global supply chain.

Purchasing
Purchasing at TRUMPF is characterized by close links between our products and services. As part of the team, you work internationally in development projects and implement sourcing strategies across our locations.

Spare parts logistics
Rapid delivery of TRUMPF genuine parts is a cornerstone of our promise to our customers. Here, you work to improve our network for supplying parts to global markets.

Quality management
In this central department, your task is to create transparency in terms of the current quality levels and act as a partner for our business divisions and subsidiaries in all issues relating to quality and processes.

As a service engineer, you install new machines and systems, rectify technical malfunctions, and carry out maintenance, repairs, and retrofits.

In the HR department we look for employees who suit our value-based family company, qualify them, and establish a long-term relationship that benefits both parties.
